India Rocks !

India beat England with just 2 balls to spare in a high voltage chase that saw them chase down 316 in incredible fashion. Watched quite a bit of the match. Kind of difficult to resist watching cricket, exams or no exams. Infact the whole hostel, well almost, had turned up to watch the final few overs of the match. Life here is not just about academics, it seems after all.

Was great to see the whole room go up as one when Uthappa struck the final boundary!

It was even better to see the old firm of Sachin and Sourav turn on the charm and the style in a rollicking opening partnership. I sincerely hope the talk of Sachin quitting ODIs is not true, considering the way he is playing right now.

And as the folks here in IIM Calcutta would say, let the final match andozzzz....
