The year that was...
One year @ IIM Calcutta. Time to take a rain check. A roller coaster ride is what the whole year has been. And today as I write this, I am not alone in feeling that the entire year has just sped by without knowing how. So many things have happened since June 2007, which was the first time I set foot on Jokaland. It has been a whirlwind of activity whole year round and yet it feels just yesterday that I arrived on campus.
Also, the fact that we will no more be the facchas when we will be back in June puts things in a whole new perspective. The 43/13 batch has done its time and will soon bid farewell. Convocation day and they will formally bid farewell. Thanks a lot for everything that you guys have done and all the best for your future!!
The last couple of weeks especially has been a blur. The sleepless nights in the infra room with one day stretching into another has been an awesome experience. You really get to know the limits to which you can push yourself when you want to. Running backup was never so much fun.
Chapter I is over and done with. Will soon be beginning a new chapter in a couple of months time.
A sense of deja vu as it will be " June mein hum Joka aayein..." all over again.
A short post and I promise myself that I will be more regular in the future. But the cynic in me says "Yeah, rite".
